WINNIPEG, MB–Tourism Winnipeg has released their enhanced Summer 2011 Events, Itineraries and Coupon Guide. This full-colour, 39-page booklet is every visitor and local’s definitive resource on all that’s happening in Winnipeg this summer.
“We set out to raise the bar with this year’s publication offering a new concept that elevates the visitor experience with detailed itineraries that guide visitors through the very best Winnipeg has to offer,” says Marina James, President and CEO of Economic Development Winnipeg Inc. “With this new guide, we hope to make it easier to explore our city and take advantage of its events and attractions.”
Along with a comprehensive listing of events spanning May long weekend to September long weekend, the guide also includes 101 Things to do in Winnipeg in Summer as well as half-, full- and two-day itineraries covering a range of interests including family fun, arts and culture, culinary adventures, gaming and casino, shopping, outdoor and sports. It also includes coupons offering discounts on local hotels, tours and attractions.

The Summer 2011 Events, Itineraries and Coupon Guide is available at local hotels and shopping malls, rural tourism centres and Tourism Winnipeg’s Visitor Centre at 259 Portage Avenue. It is also available for download here.
