Temporary Wage Subsidy for Employers

The subsidy is equal to 10% of the remuneration you pay from March 18, 2020 to June 19, 2020, up to $1,375 for each eligible employee and to a maximum of $25,000 total per employer.

Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy

Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy

Up to a 75% wage subsidy (up to $847 per week for 3 months) for employers who have lost at least 15% of their business in March, or 30% in April, May, June, July & August.

Work-Sharing Program

Work-Sharing Program

Work-Sharing (WS) is an adjustment program designed to help employers and employees avoid layoffs when there is a temporary reduction in the normal level of business activity that is beyond the control of the employer. Will extend from 38 weeks to 76 weeks.

Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance program

The program will provide forgivable loans to commercial property overs to cover 50% of rent payments from eligible small businesses for April May and June. Loans are forgiven if the mortgaged property owner agrees to reduce eligible small business tenants’ rent by at least 75% for April, May & June and not evict the tenant during the program

Temporary Foreign Worker Work Pemit Process

Temporary Foreign Worker Work Pemit Process

A worker who is already in Canada and has secured a new job offer, typically backed by a labour market test, can get approval to start working in their new job, even while their work permit application is being fully processed. This will cut what can often take 10 weeks or more, down to 10 days or less.
