Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to enter?

Attendance is free!

Will we be able to watch the game live?

Yes! The Street Party will have five screens to watch the game live, set up at strategic points throughout the premises. This includes a screen in the family zone at Millennium Library Park. You won’t miss a single second of the action

Is there a maximum capacity for the Street Party?

Yes. For April 20, it's over 15,000 people with room for a few thousand in the alcohol-free zone. We have the capacity to further expand the next Street Party venue in the future if enough Jets fans want to be a part of it.

Are there washrooms available onsite?

Can I bring a lawn chair?

Yes! You will have to bring your own chairs if you want to sit, and there will be lots of standing room.

Can I bring my own food or drinks into the Street Party?

Outside food and drinks will not be permitted – but there are some great food trucks and beverage options inside the venue for purchase.

Will I be allowed to smoke?

The Street Party site is a non-smoking venue. This includes e-cigarettes.

Will food be available for purchase?

Yes. There will be some food trucks at the Street Party so you can grab a bite before and during the game.

Will alcoholic beverages be available for purchase?

Yes - but there is an alcohol-free zone at the Millennium Library Park.

Are pets allowed?

We ask that you keep your furry friend at home (guidance animals are permitted on-site).

Will there be an accessible drop-off point if I have mobility impairments?

Yes. A drop-off point for accessible parking will be available in the loading zone in front of the Radisson Hotel (288 Portage Avenue) during the Street Party. There will be clearly marked signage during these times.

Will there be security onsite?

Yes. We want this to be a safe space, and are working with the Winnipeg Police Service, True North Sports & Entertainment, and the Downtown BIZ to make sure the Street Party is safe for everyone to celebrate. Bag checks are in effect at every entry point to the Street Party.

Where can I park my bike?

At this point we have not added additional bike parking, but there are a number of existing bike racks available at the Millennium Library and around BellMTS Place. As the event continues to grow, we will be exploring more bike parking options.

How will the party affect traffic downtown?

There will be some street closures and Transit reroutes around BellMTS Place. Details can be found here. It's a good idea to allow extra time to get around downtown. Winnipeg Transit has more information on affected routes. Download and use the Waze app for real-time traffic and incident updates as well as traffic re-route options.

Can I be part of the 50/50 draw going on inside BellMTS Place?

Yes! Fans have the opportunity to get in on the in-game 50/50 draw at the Street Party. 50/50 sellers will be roaming around the area – be sure to catch one for your chance to win!

Anything else I need to know?

Dress for the weather (whatever it might be that day). Of course, we encourage all fans to wear white for every game!
